Tests
18:50 on a very rainy Thursday. I haven’t committed my last set of changes, so I can’t really do a lot as I sit here in my old favourite pub, The Red Lion in Histon. What I can do though is post something here as a note-to-future-self to remind myself about setting up a set of pages with different layout options. The idea is that a script could then request a bunch of test URLs, or I could just click through a list and check things. Nothing revolutionary really.
If I really want to get organised, I should set up some pages to use as tests for any and all customisations. That’s the stuff that always causes a problem. You think you’ve checked everything and then a client send you an email to let you know you haven’t. It’s usually something simple, which is what makes it extra annoying when it happens.
